Our Company
PC Innovations, Inc., established in 1991, is a Texas based privately held corporation with headquarters in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas.
PC Innovations primarily is engaged in providing expertise in the field of information technologies through one or more of the following activities: (1) writing, modifying, testing, and supporting software to meet the needs of a particular client; (2) planning and designing computer systems that integrate computer hardware, software, and communication technologies; (3) remote management and operation of clients' computer systems and/or data processing facilities; and (4) other professional and technical computer-software related consulting services.
From its inception in 1991, PC Innovations has been a leader in developing time-management and automated customized software solutions for its clients. Initially, PC Innovations serviced and provided the retail and legal industries with customized software solutions for Point of Sale, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll and Sales Management, Asset Tracking, Time and Billing, Client Case Tracking and Automation.
In 1999, PC Innovations was the first company on the market to create and develop a commercial grade solution to meet the demand for the K-12 educational market's needs, enabling school administrators to effectively track student tardiness with its automated student tardy management and ID Badge system - Tardy Calculator. Over the years, Tardy Calculator has evolved into a powerful and user-friendly solution by closely listening to the unique needs of school administrators. Tardy Calculator's extensive clientele base has a successful and proven track record in helping primary, middle and high schools dramatically decrease tardies. It has also played a key role in positively changing student behavioral characteristics in complying with school regulations. Schools use Tardy Calculator as an early prevention tool to detect signs of truancy and other behavioral problems that are disruptive to their education.
Tardy Calculator's successful record is evidenced by its diverse clientele base consisting of secondary schools with as little as 200 students and as large as 4,000 students. Statistics have shown tremendous benefit in the reduction of tardies to school districts that have elected to implement Tardy Calculator in both high school and their respective feeder middle schools. Since tardiness is a learned trait, students in middle schools who have been exposed to Tardy Calculator have come to learn that being late to class/school is no longer tolerated -- not only in the middle school, but also at the high school level. By implementing Tardy Calculator's enforcement at both school levels, students have been put on notice; and we believe this is a major reason for these impressive statistics.
